Time to Plan

Some Final Comments...

  • Give yourself a break, nothing ever goes perfectly!
  • Give other a break, they too are only human!
  • Practice, practice, practice!
  • Be flexible! Your first plan will only last until you begin to actually execute on it, the it will need to be adjusted
  • Leave ego and emotion out of the project
  • Always give positive feedback

Success takes practice. Your first few times through this process may not always produce the exact outcome you are looking for but each time it will be better and better. After a few projects, you won’t even have to refer to this guide as steps will be just automatic. And while this guide is aimed at planning in the Lodge, all of these techniques can be used in any setting for any project!

Above all, make the process one that works for you and your Lodge. There is no one right way to plan but there are many wrong ways to do it! If you are not getting the successful outcomes you desire, step back and take a look at your process and give the tools offered on this website a try.
